ALAN GUTIERREZ

Lives and works in Miami. Is a multi-media artist using image and context as hyper-important tools in his practice as he investigates the ways in which the natural, the spiritual, and the instinctual are represented in contemporary culture. Often these investigations occur through produced video performances, live performances, and sculpture. Gutierrez has recently performed in the latest installment at the first annual Miami Performance International Festival, and is preparing for a solo exhibition in March 2013.
