ERNESTO OROZA

 Is an interdisciplinary Cuban artist and designer based in Miami, whose work focuses on conceptual design and architecture. He was visiting professor in Les Ateliers, Ecole Nationale Superieure de Creation Industrielle in Paris (1998, 2006-2010), and professor of the Polytechnic Institute of Design of Havana from 1995 to 2000. Oroza received a Harpo Foundation Grant in 2010, a Cintas Fellowship in 2008 and a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2007. He is the author of Editing Havana, Stories of Popular Housing (Denmark, 2011), Technological Disobedience (Saint-Etienne 2009) and Objets Reinventes, (Paris 2002). His work has been exhibited in Haute Definition Gallery (Paris), The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, The Museum of Modern Art (New York), Laboral Centro de Arte (Gijon, Spain), Groninger Museum (The Netherlands) and the Miami Art Museum (EUA).
